December Meeting

This month's meeting is pushed back a week (to December 22 2006) because we're going to have a special visitor: StankDawg! He's going to be in town and will be paying our humble meeting a visit. For this reason, there's no real planned topic of choice or discussion in mind, we'll play it by ear and see what he wants to talk about.

This month brings us some good topics to discuss such as the utter trouncing of the Wii over the PS3 and how Sony is still outselling the PS2 to the PS3 by an 8:1 margin. Or how the Novell-Microsoft deal will affect not only affect SUSE (and to an extent SLED), the future of mono, and the future of one of the world's largest OSS companies. Perhaps we can talk about the near 100% open sourcing of Sun's Java and the recent release of Java 6. Maybe we can just talk about all those people bonking themselves in the face with Wiimotes or them breaking their TVs with the Wiimote.

See you all there on December 22 in front of Waldenbooks in the Town Center Mall!
